Shanghai International Exhibition Corporation (SIEC) SIEC is a subsidiary to China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Shanghai Sub-Council, and China Chamber of International Commerce, Shanghai Chamber of Commerce. SIEC, the largest professional exhibition corporation in scale, was founded on July 1st,1984 in Shanghai with the approval of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations and Shanghai Municipal People's Government. SIEC organizes international commercial and technological exhibitions in principal as well as international conferences and business consultancy, together with the technology transfer and trade talk simultaneously. It offers a range of relevant services including samples' declaration to the Customs, the procedures of import, duty-reservation, transportation, purchase and advertisement. They also offer their exhibitors the services of visa application, hotel reservation and so on. Since its founded SIEC has organized 320 large-and medium-sized international exhibitions, with the beginnings of being "large-sized, international, professional, fixed-periodical" in scale.
